Wyvernhorn – Bearer of the Last Magic
The Wyvernhorn was a now-extinct species of wyvern, distinguished by a long horn resembling that of a unicorn. But humans were greedy. They hunted the creatures for their horns, believing that whoever possessed one would be blessed with luck, strength or love. For decades they were pursued through mountains, ravines and even above the clouds, until eventually the last of them fell.
Today, only legends and a handful of carved, carefully preserved horns remain to remind us that they ever existed.
Such is the Wyvernhorn. Yet anyone who holds its cold, spiralling form can still feel that it once belonged to a living, proud creature – and perhaps, among the mountains, the memory of its beating wings still lingers in the air.
